Guidelines for DISAB Vacuum Technology AB personal data processing
DISAB Vacuum Technology AB (”DISAB”) cares for the protection of personal privacy and provides these guidelines to inform you about DISAB's personal data processing for employment, customer purchases of DISAB's products and services, for DISAB's purchases of suppliers' products and services, when participating in DISAB's exhibitions, events, seminars and training courses, when registering at disab.com to benefit from DISAB's services and features on the website, for DISAB's direct marketing to individuals and companies as well as when visiting DISAB's premises (commonly designated ”Service”, ”Services”).
Note that these guidelines apply regardless of whether you use a computer, mobile telephone, tablet or any other device to access DISAB's Services.
1. Who collects your Personal data?

DISAB GmbH, org. no.: HRB 6598, c/o DISAB Vacuum Technology Box 170, SE-241 23 ESLÖV (commonly designated ”DISAB”) is the personal data controller for the personal data that is processed within the framework of these guidelines. DISAB processes your personal data in accordance with the regulations that at any time apply to such personal data processing.
1.2 These guidelines for personal data processing apply to all DISAB's processing of your personal data.
2. What is personal data?
2.1 The personal data covered by these guidelines is the data that you provide to DISAB in connection with the processing and use of the Services such as, for example, your name, e-mail address, address, telephone number, your employer, IP number of your technical receiver equipment, picture of you, sound recordings of you, your payment information, your customer number, your order number as well as any further information you provide to DISAB in connection to the use of the Services that can be linked to you as a physical person (commonly designated ”Personal data”).
2.2 Information that does not allow a direct or indirect association with you is not considered Personal data.
3. What type of data does DISAB collect, process and use and for what purpose?
3.1 DISAB collects, registers, processes and stores the following Personal data in structured material (e.g. in databases, case management systems) and in unstructured material (e.g. on websites, in e-mails, social media, articles) as well as in electronic form and in paper form for the following described situations and following purpose:
3.1.1 As an employee, the following personal data is collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, social security number, address, post code, city, telephone number, e-mail, next of kin, picture and sound recording of you due to your role as an employee for administrative purposes, to fulfil DISAB's legal or other statutory obligations, for marketing, training and information purposes, for security and confidentiality issues, for quality and analytical purposes. During DISAB exhibitions, events and meetings you may be photographed and filmed. DISAB may publish a photo, sound recording and work related information about you on DISAB's intranet, websites, in articles, in newsletters, in training and information material.
3.1.2 As a job applicant for a post at DISAB, the following personal data is collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, social security number, address, post code, city, telephone number, e-mail, any pictures for administrative purposes, to fulfil DISAB's obligations according to law or other constitution, for marketing, training and information purposes, for security and confidentiality issues, for quality and analytical purposes.
3.1.3 In the event of purchasing DISAB's products and services, the following personal data may be collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, telephone number, e-mail address, company name, city, post code, location, invoice address, order number, customer number, organisation number, IP number with the purpose of fulfilling the agreement that we entered with you as a Customer and provide a service or product that you request, to fulfil our legal or other statutory obligations, for invoicing, payment and accounting purposes, for marketing purposes, for complaint management, customer service, security, confidentiality and administration issues, quality work, business development (to determine how to internally analyse, evaluate, further develop, and prioritise among our products and services) verification for your ordering of the services and products, for example customer and market analyses (to chart and analyse who our customers are, how the market for our services looks and to be able to send offers to specific customer groups) and for statistical purposes (to get better knowledge of how Customers use DISAB's services and products).
3.1.4 In the event of DISAB purchasing suppliers' products and services, the following personal data may be collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, e-mail address, telephone number, title, company name, address, organisation number, account number, invoicing information (e.g. credit card number) and IP number with the purpose of fulfilling the agreement that DISAB has entered with you, to fulfil DISAB's legal or other statutory obligations for payment and accounting purposes, quality work, for marketing purposes, for complaint management, for security, confidentiality and administration issues.
3.1.5 In the event of participating in DISAB's exhibitions, events, seminars and training courses, the following personal data is collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name, address, post code, city, organisation number, picture of you, sound recording, information about any special dietary requirements and invoice address with the purpose of registering you and providing a service that you request, to fulfil our legal or other statutory obligations, for invoicing, payment and accounting purposes, for marketing purposes, for complaint management, customer service, for security, confidentiality and administration issues as well as for statistical purposes. During DISAB events and meetings you may be photographed and filmed. DISAB may publish a photo, sound recording and work related information about you on DISAB's intranet, websites, in articles, in newsletters, in training and information material.
3.1.6 On registration at disab.com in order to benefit from DISAB's services and features on disab.com, the following personal data is collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, Your company name, title, e-mail, telephone number, address, post code, city, IP number with the purpose of registering you and providing the service or function you request or the feature you want to benefit from, to fulfil our legal or other statutory obligations, for invoicing, payment and accounting purposes, for marketing purposes, for complaint management, for security, confidentiality and administration issues as well as for statistical purposes.
3.1.7 Prior to DISAB's direct marketing to companies, DISAB has collected, stored and processed the following personal data: Your name, address, post code, city, e-mail, IP number for marketing purposes, for security, confidentiality and administration issues as well as for statistical purposes.
3.1.8 When visiting DISAB's premises, the following personal data is collected, registered, stored and processed: Your name, your employer, any pictures, sound recordings of you (upon attending DISAB's seminars and training courses) and visitor number with the purpose of registering you and notifying you to the person you are visiting at DISAB, for administrative purposes, for marketing purposes and for security purposes.
3.2 Information about your usage of the Services
In addition to the information that you provide to DISAB, we may also collect information about your usage of our services on your device in other ways. We may for example collect:
• Login information
For example, data or statistical purposes through the Google Analytics service such as, for example, when and for how long you use the Service, search terms that you enter via the Services, and all information that is stored in cookies that we have placed on your device with the purpose of facilitating the functionality of websites.
• Location information
When using the Google Analytics service, the IP address region and country is collected for statistical purposes.
• Other information
Other information about your usage of the Service, such as the programs you use, the websites you visit and how you integrate with content offered via a Service with the purpose of developing our Services and to determine how we can internally further develop and prioritise our Services.
3.3 Information from third party sources
DSAB may receive information about you from public and private players (in accordance with laws and regulations) which we may combine with other information that we receive from or about you. DISAB may also receive information about you from social network services from third parties when you choose to join such services.
4. For how long does DISAB store your personal data?
DISAB will only store your Personal data for as long as we need it to provide our Services and not for longer than is permitted according to the Swedish Data Protection Authority's (Datainspektionen) guidelines and practices regarding the storage and deletion of personal data or what is based on any legal obligation to save the information for an extended period of time in accordance with applicable personal data regulations.
5. Is your personal data transferred to any third parties?
5.1 The majority of DISAB's servers are within our network and are in data halls in our premises. DISAB also has some of its servers in the cloud through a third party cloud service. By using the Services specified in points 3.1.1 - 3.1.8, your personal data may be collected, processed, stored and transferred to DISAB's partners, suppliers (e.g. personal data subcontractors and their subcontractors that process personal data for DISAB's accounting), banks, social insurance, authorities and organisations both within and outside the EU, including USA, for the purposes given in points 3.1.1 – 3.1.8 above. DISAB may also forward your personal data to other parties to comply with the law or to comply with mandatory legal processes (such as decisions on searches or other court decisions) to verify or enforce the guidelines and policies governing our Services and to protect DISAB's and/or our business partners and/or the customer's rights, right to ownership and security. DISAB may also share information about you with third parties when you approve or request that such information is shared.
DISAB always ensures that an adequate protection level according to applicable personal data law is met in the event of such a transfer of personal data to another organisation and/or to another country. In the event that DISAB transfers personal data to a country outside the EU, which according to the EU Commission does not achieve adequate protection levels, DISAB will ensure that the transfer is subject to appropriate model clauses or standard safeguards regulations adopted by the EU Commission, the Swedish Data Protection Authority (Datainspektionen) or other appropriate authority. The same applies where applicable transfer to any personal data processors, who are appointed by DISAB to process personal data for the purposes stated in these conditions.
5.2 DISAB also has the right to disclose your personal information to a credit reporting company, before an agreement has been entered, to verify your credit rating.
5.3 Transfer of information may occur, for example, through internet based technology. Anonymized and aggregated data (e.g. purchase statistics) may be provided to third parties.
5.4 Through direct marketing, DISAB may use information about you that we collect to provide you information about campaigns, special offers and other information about our products and services. Such information is provided in accordance with applicable legislation. This means for example that we can only send direct marketing to you via e-mail or text message after you have given your active consent for this or in some cases based on existing contract relationship. Your written consent is usually obtained in connection with you using our services by ticking a box, but we may also obtain your consent in other situations. When you receive direct marketing from us via e-mail, you are always given the opportunity to decline the continuation of such marketing. In addition, you can inform us at any time via e-mail to ContactUs@disab.com that you no longer wish to receive direct marketing from us at any time. If you withdraw your consent to receive direct marketing we will not, however, delete all your information from our databases unless you have specifically requested for us to do so.
A cookie is a text file that is sent from a website, e.g. www.disab.com to your computer, where it is either stored in the memory (session-cookies) or as a small text file (permanent cookies). DISAB uses both these types of cookies. Permanent cookies are only used in certain situations where DISAB has chosen to run statistics on certain products. Session-cookies are used to store login information as well as your customer basket when you browse our website. The aforementioned are deleted from the memory as soon as you close your web browser. If your web browser is set to not accept cookies you will not be able to make your order via the Internet. You can easily change this setting in your web browser. By using the website www.disab.com and/or in connection with registration and use of the Services, you also accept the use of these cookies.
7.1 Except as stated in these guidelines, DISAB will not transfer your Personal data to third parties.
7.2 DISAB maintains strict physical, electronic and administrative security measures to protect your Personal data in accordance with applicable regulations. This means that we regularly review our security and deletion procedures regarding the processing of personal data.
8. Who is responsible for information that you provide to third parties, use of social media etc.?
8.1 The information that you choose to submit to third parties is not covered by DISAB's guidelines for personal data processing. You are responsible for such information that you submit to third parties, for example LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
8.2 Some of DISAB's Services can be accessed via services and platforms operated by third parties such as Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. You should be aware that DISAB has no control nor any responsibility for the processing of personal data that is performed by such third parties. DISAB's Services may also contain links to third party services or websites. If you use such links you leave DISAB's Services. DISAB has no control over such third party services or websites (or their content), nor any responsibility for them.
8.3 DISAB may provide features that allow you to share information within your social network and interact with us.
9. Right to withdraw consent
9.1 If you have given your consent for DISAB to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time for us to process your personal data (however, not retroactively). To do this, it is sufficient to send an e-mail to: ContactUs@disab.com
9.2 You can also inform us that you no longer wish to receive direct marketing, letter mailing campaigns and similar, at any time with immediate effect without giving any particular reason or referencing a certain notice period. Address your withdrawal via e-mail to: ContactUs@disab.com
9.3 After withdrawing your consent, DISAB will only use the data that must be processed to provide the Services and we will refrain from all other processing.
9.4 You also have the right to request that all personal data that can be attributed to you as a physical person be deleted by destroying or identifying it.
10. Changes to these guidelines
DISAB retains the right to change these guidelines for personal data processing from time to time.
11. Your rights
You can at any time and free of charge, obtain information about your personal data that DISAB has stored. If any data is incorrect you can ask us to change your personal data. Please also let us know if your Personal data has changed. You can also ask us to destroy or unidentify your personal data. You also have the right to have your personal data transferred to another personal data controller, so-called data portability. You also have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data or object to DISAB's personal data processing. Requests regarding changes, restrictions, objections, removal, data portability, information about DISAB personal data processing, questions, complaints and suggestions regrading data security can be sent to: DISAB Vacuum Technology AB, Box 170, SE-241 23 ESLÖV or via e-mail to: ContactUs@disab.com.
